The Truth About Moving to a New City
I had once read this quote “If you don’t like where you live, move. You are not a tree”. It seemed so profoundly simple yet so possibly onerous. The unknown is SCARY. Moving somewhere without friends, without a job, and without knowing the area takes courage and boldness.
This uncertainty tests your faith and catapults you to a new level of growth, pushing you outside your comfort zone. That is the truth about moving to a new city.
Past the fear and beyond the doubt comes a deep learning and understanding within yourself and your true values, leaving you never the same as you once had been.
Moving FORCES you to be comfortable with the unknown. Comfortable with experiences you otherwise would not have done, embracing new friendships and exploring the greatest landscapes you’d never known.
Move to find yourself, move to strengthen your faith, move to get out of your comfort zone, to travel, to feel the sun on your skin, to explore, to fall in love, to find yourself, to be more independent, to be more fearless, to find more interests, to light a passion and spark a fire in your soul.
Trust your gut and go for it.
