3 Tips for Stress Free Hosting
Hey Guys! I don’t know about y’all but I love having girls wine nights with my friends, we have these often and they are a blast. I offered to host the last one and decided to have some fun with it.
I am no stranger to hosting, I have hosted and cooked for at least three Thanksgiving and Christmas’s for my family before. If you know Italians, you know this includes three full course meals. It was a TON of work, not going to lie, but hosting doesn’t have to be burdensome. I’m here to show you my 3 Tips for stress free hosting.
- Choose a Manageable Theme
Step one is definitely to pick a theme and stick to it, it will make planning your menu ten times easier. Make a prefixed menu ahead of time and plan your grocery list off of that. I picked dessert theme for this girls wine night because, who doesn’t love chocolate.
2. Save Time with Preparation
If you can make things the day before this will save you so much time. I love to make things and reheat them, it takes a lot of the pressure off for the day of. A great time savor is also buying prepackaged precut veggies or pre-made oven ready items.
3. A Simple Presentation
I love event planning so it’s no surprise that presentation is very important to me. Truthfully you don’t have to go crazy making everything from scratch… presentation is everything, it’s why candy bar’s look so heavenly at events.
Disclaimer: I will definitely be one of those girls who makes their table with name cards when the time comes, Martha Stewart in the making.
Honestly, sometimes all you need is some cute platters and doilies and you’re all set.
There you have it! I hope this posts inspires you to host a girls night with your friends or a dinner to spend quality time with family.
