If someone says something hurtful do not react from a place of emotion right away, take time to think before you react.

2. Make time for what you value
This may be taking your favorite workout class, reading a book, meditating, taking time to journal and reflect, or even taking the time to just relax. It is so important to do things daily that keep you grounded and true to yourself and your happiness. When you’re making time to do things you truly value, it can help you reset and reevaluate your goals to live a happier more stress free life.
3. Surround yourself with true friends
Did you know you are the average of your five closest friends? That is why it is so important to surround yourself with others who lift you up, inspire, and support you. Life is too short to be surrounded by toxic people who make you feel insecure and bring negativity. There will always be people you will never be able to please, it is better to just stay true to who you are than try to keep others happy or gain their approval. In turn, you will be happier and able to focus on your purpose and goals.
